Kinesiology Chakra Healing in Fremantle or Why Chakra Talk Makes Me Yawn (And Why I Still Work With Them Every Day)

Chakra healing brings a natural sense of lightness, calm and joy—like lying under the sun on a peaceful day.

When I hear talks about chakra healing, I start yawning. Honestly—boring! It took me a while to understand why. After all, I work with chakras in almost every kinesiology session in my home-based clinic in Fremantle.

What are chakras anyway?

So why does my mind switch off the moment I hear someone start describing them?

I think it’s because chakras, as most people without extrasensory perception experience them, are not real in a tangible way. They’re abstract. Intangible. And often they come wrapped in foreign, complicated words that sound appealing and mystical—but don’t give you anything practical to hold onto.

In a chakra healing session, what you actually feel is not the chakras themselves, but the inner alignment and integration they create.

For example: what does it really mean when someone says “your base chakra is linked to trust”? Does that mean if I learn to trust more, my base chakra feels happier? Or does it mean that if my base chakra does its job, I feel trust? How can I “make” a chakra work better? Where’s the cause, where’s the effect? The practical application is often left fuzzy.

Some things are meant to be experienced rather than explained. In a good energy or chakra healing session, what you actually feel is not your chakras themselves, but the inner alignment and integration they create.

Think of it like watching a movie. What stays with you afterwards isn’t the flickering images on the screen, but the feelings they stirred—sorrow, laughter, warmth, love, maybe even a new reflection about your own life. Talking about chakras is like describing pixels on a screen instead of the film itself.

Let me share an example.

Energy flows through us just as it flows through nature—chakra healing helps restore that connection.

Kinesiology Chakra healing in Fremantle.

Real life example.

I offer chakra healing and kinesiology in Fremantle and the Perth area. Once I worked with a client—let’s call her Annabel—who came to me with persistent back pain. She was in her late sixties, carrying a long history of cruelty and injustice from her family and authority figures. She had lived through divorce and the deaths of loved ones. Life had left her tired, anxious, and sad. The past wasn’t really past for her; it accompanied her every morning, every night, a heavy shadow. The only relief she found was when she threw herself into volunteer work helping others.

Our sessions began with modest goals: better energy, improved sleep, easing back pain. (To find out about kinesiology goals - the most important component of a session click here.) Yet, session after session, the work kept pointing me back to her Sacral Chakra. That was the place calling for attention. As I worked with acupoints and sent energy into the sacral area, fragments of Annabel’s past began surfacing—not in chronological order, but in the order her psyche needed. One by one, experiences were reassembled into a new story, one that gave meaning, validated her suppressed emotions, and restored her sense of coherence.

The energy work flowed hand in hand with her emotional recovery. Sometimes the sacral work brought gentle waves of flow and lightness. Other times it felt like electricity running through her system, ending in tears of deep release.

Over the weeks, Annabel’s vitality, faith, and self-worth were reborn. Her back pain eased, her posture straightened, her sleep deepened. She reconnected with loved ones in a more joyful way. What had felt heavy and stuck now moved with natural rhythm again. The sacral chakra holds the energetic memory of family bonds. By tending to it, Annabel regained her ability to flow with life—physically, emotionally, and relationally.

And this is why I yawn when people only talk about chakras. How can I tell you about them separately from the experiences they hold? It’s like describing the frequency of musical notes instead of letting you hear the melody.
